DocBook is a popular SGML document type definition that is used to write computer documentation.

DSSSL stands for Document Style and Semantics Specification Language. DSSSL offers a portable way to specify the transformation of an SGML document into other formats.

The ISO/IEC DIS 10180 [1995] standard ``Standard Page Description Language'' defines a page description language that is, in effect, an internationalized version of PostScript™.
SGML stands for Standard Generalized Markup Language, a language for defining structured markup. SGML is an international standard, [ISO 8879:1986].

XML stands for Extensible Markup Language. XML is a standard from the World Wide Web Consortium.
